Hello and welcome to my blog. I really like Italian names and “Sonia” is my favourite. Besides, sonia stands for “sleepyhead” in Russian and I like to sleep, so.. When I was in a high school I edited a school newspaper and since then I have a soft spot for a journalism. I decided to embark on this blogging adventure after John Chow published this little teaser on his blog. The purpose of this blog is finding like minded people on dusty Internet roads.
My real name is Vadim Dumin and I live in Vancouver, BC. I am relatively new to blogging, but not so new to the technology and Internet field. I spent past ten years working for some of the best Fortune 500 companies, such as Nokia and IBM in engineering and in a product management. I work as a Firmware Engineer in a small company, who makes electronic gadgets. I also graduated from BEST program at BCIT, where I discovered an exciting world of entrepreneurship and met many wonderful people: teachers and classmates.
